Job Responsibilities
  • Visiting potential clients address is must & Physical Sales Activity
  • Marketing over phone call, sms, email and social digital platform.
  • Live Campaign on social digital platform (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, Google, etc).
  • Call to respected clients to arrange meet up and presentation.
  • Sales generating over phone or email.
  • You need to always keep a smiling, warm, friendly and positive attitude.
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.

02. Officer/Sr. Officer- CUSTOMS, VAT & TAX

Job Context

Looking for candidates who have good knowledge on Customs, VAT & TAX along with the capability & willingness to learn how to handle various client about Customs, VAT & TAX related issues Job Responsibilities
  • Regular follow-up with existing / potential clients to achieve maximum potentiality.
  • Monthly sales target achieve.
  • Must be target oriented, able to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Build a strong relationship with the customer.
  • Others related sales & marketing activities.
  • Manage all Corporate Income Tax, VAT and RJSC, BIDA related queries and filings in the right manner and tax planning for assessment of Company’s.
  • Prepared and submit monthly VAT return (MUSHOK-9.1) and others related documents as such Mushak-4.3, Mushak -6.3, Mushak – 6.4, Mushak – 6.6, Mushak-6.10 as per New VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 & also has to be keep these record in NBR approved VAT software and own MS-Excel.
  • Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits. To ensure comply with regulations by forwarding required information to the authorities.
  • Ensure submission of Income Tax & VAT returns in due time along with the required documents.
  • Attend hearing with The DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment.
  • Review all financial records, systems and control process of the company as per accounting standards and taxes laws.
  • Deliver a full range of Tax & VAT services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 with a view to reduce the disallowances.
  • Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and consultants.
  • Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance 1984, Company Law and VAT Act.
  • Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, VDS, VAT & AIT & other hearing-related documents.
  • Maintaining internal Audit on all accounting issues.
  • Handling external Audit (Government and private) for Tax accounts and other issues.
  • Reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Preparing all kinds of periodic account Tax & VAT related reports/statements.
  • Monitor monthly TDS and VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. treasury.
  • Prepare TDS & VDS certificates (Mushak- 6.6) and provide to vendors.
  • Maintain statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies – Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
  • Should have sound knowledge on VAT Online and VAT rebate/refund and exemption process.
  • Work independently and have sufficient knowledge regarding Export-Import, Customs procedures, VAT & Tax rules related to Export and Import.
  • Any other activities as & when asked by the Management.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance
  • Training/ Trade Course: VAT Management,ITP
  • Skills Required: Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax), Tax and VAT, VAT Law
